Emergency Food Shelf

Providing access to a community in need

The Food Shelf is closed Saturday, May 28 for Memorial Day weekend. There will be no distribution.

The Food Shelf is open for food distributions on Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Due to COVID-19, we are currently operating on a limited-choice outside ordering process, or indoor client-selected shopping. Masks are required.

No appointments are needed - just come to the parking lot. Eligibility is based on self-reported income and need (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ELIGIBILITY CHART). We ask that households come only ONE TIME PER MONTH to allow everyone access.

The Calvary Food Shelf has no geographic boundaries - all are welcome! If you have any questions, please email foodshelf@clchurch.org or call 612-827-2504, ext. 205.

BREAD FOR THE WORLD LETTER-WRITING CAMPAIGN

Join the Calvary Lutheran Social Justice Steering Committee during this March FoodShare Campaign as we turn our faith into action by writing letters to our members of Congress. Bread for the World’s Offering of Letters aims to realize a world in which all of God’s children are fed. Our goal is to create political will by writing our policy makers and urging them to pass hunger and poverty legislation, including the Child Tax Credit, and increasing global nutrition funding.

For more information on this year’s Offering of Letters, or for email templates to members of congress, go to www.bread.org/ol.
